Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.111-athlon-preempt When I scale the font size up on some web sites to make the text easier to read at a distance, the letters all run together. This can be seen at http://www.liquidnails.com/faq.html, for example. Just increase the font size several times and the letters start running together. Mozilla 1.7 does not suffer from this problem.
i get a 404 not found error when trying to access the page. please give another example to make this bug reproducable for everyone.
note: i already listed this as "needs input" on http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=Konqueror+Bugs+Day
upscaling looks fine, downscaling shows the described behaviour. testcase: http://www.liquidnails.com/ViewSiteMap.do there is a scaling issue, confirming.
The page is available via the Web Archive at: http://web.archive.org/web/20040608014824/http://www.liquidnails.com/faq.html (last updated version). On KDE 4.0.3/Kubuntu this behaves as expected. J Appels testcase at http://www.liquidnails.com/ViewSiteMap.do works fine too. What is current situationon 3.5.9?
Created attachment 25689 [details] Screenshot on konqueror 3.5.9 Konqueror 3.5.9 overlapps the text only when the text is made smaller than the standard, not larger. I could make the text even smaller than in the screenshot, and overlap more.
That seems to be fixed in 4.5.4 and therefore is closed.
