My KDE Session crashes when I try (in Konqueror) Actions->Convert to for many multiselected big BMPs to PNG ( but it works well with only one BMP)

If you select multiple Images and RMB select "Convert to" KDE starts as many convert tasks as files selected.
That thing with 57 jpeg images (2MB each) made my computer (Dual Athlon MP 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM) stuck. I had to kill X which took 2 minutes or so.

Really bad thing.

well it kinda makes your system unusable to convert huge numbers of huge images. this was easily reproduceable with 3.5.4 for me using 72 photos.
