Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux Go to www.wanadoo.fr - the page has several tabs on top (A la une, Loisirs, Services etc). Under the tabs an image is displayed (depending on the tab clicked). In konqueror, the image overlaps the tabs (the image seems to be displayed correctly for a few seconds while the page is loading, but once the page is fully loaded it moves on top of the tabs).
I can't see that. Can you attach a screenshot? I see some other bugs on that page, but they are covered by already existant bug reports (namely on some tabs the table right to the main image is too high)
Created attachment 8137 [details] Snapshot of www.wanadoo.fr taken with Konqueror (KDE 3.3.1) You can see that the image obscures the tabs.

Attached snapshots with the website loaded in Konqueror and Netscape.
I still don't have that. Anyone else?
Yesterday khtml rendered it wrong (you'll have to wait khtml freeze messagebox and click continue), today version I'll get two message boxes saying that page freezes konqueror. If I click continue konqi will crash: #6 0x080521b7 in QGArray::size (this=0x85a0f80) at qgarray.h:79 #7 0x401989c1 in QMemArray<char>::size (this=0x85a0f80) at qmemarray.h:66 #8 0x41d31945 in khtml::ImageSource::sendTo (this=0x85a0f50, sink=0x86bae04, n=43) at loader.cpp:358 #9 0x41231e72 in QDataPump::tryToPump () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #10 0x415b7b5c in QDataPump::qt_invoke () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #11 0x41288a2c in QObject::activate_signal () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #12 0x41288854 in QObject::activate_signal () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #13 0x415c117b in QTimer::timeout () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #14 0x412aa242 in QTimer::event () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #15 0x4122c0bf in QApplication::internalNotify () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #16 0x4122b6be in QApplication::notify () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #17 0x4079bed7 in KApplication::notify (this=0xbffff6a0, receiver=0x86dcc04, event=0xbfff87a0) at kapplication.cpp:495 #18 0x4121b8f5 in QEventLoop::activateTimers () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #19 0x411d4ccb in QEventLoop::processEvents () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #20 0x4123e478 in QEventLoop::enterLoop () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #21 0x4122c371 in QApplication::enter_loop () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #22 0x41412e80 in QDialog::exec () from /opt/qt333/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #23 0x40582d17 in KMessageBox::createKMessageBox (dialog=0x86d52a8, icon=<incomplete type>, text=@0xbfff8ca0, strlist=@0xbfff8c40, ask=@0xbfff8ba0, checkboxReturn=0xbfff8b9f, options=5, details=@0x416f1e78, notifyType=Warning) at kmessagebox.cpp:296 #24 0x4058248f in KMessageBox::createKMessageBox (dialog=0x86d52a8, icon=Warning, text=@0xbfff8ca0, strlist=@0xbfff8c40, ask=@0xbfff8ba0, checkboxReturn=0xbfff8b9f, options=5, details=@0x416f1e78) at kmessagebox.cpp:145 #25 0x40583d61 in KMessageBox::warningYesNoListWId (parent_id=0, text=@0xbfff8ca0, strlist=@0xbfff8c40, caption=@0xbfff8cb0, buttonYes=@0xbfff8cd0, buttonNo=@0xbfff8cf0, dontAskAgainName=@0xbfff8ce0, options=5) at kmessagebox.cpp:549 #26 0x40583b2f in KMessageBox::warningYesNoList (parent=0x0, text=@0xbfff8ca0, strlist=@0xbfff8c40, caption=@0xbfff8cb0, buttonYes=@0xbfff8cd0, buttonNo=@0xbfff8cf0, dontAskAgainName=@0xbfff8ce0, options=5) at kmessagebox.cpp:516 #27 0x40583a3e in KMessageBox::warningYesNo (parent=0x0, text=@0xbfff8ca0, caption=@0xbfff8cb0, buttonYes=@0xbfff8cd0, buttonNo=@0xbfff8cf0, dontAskAgainName=@0xbfff8ce0, options=5) at kmessagebox.cpp:491 #28 0x41d89dff in KJSCPUGuard::confirmTerminate () at kjs_proxy.cpp:380 #29 0x41f00895 in KJS::ExecState::hadException (this=0x83f0690) at interpreter.cpp:384 #30 0x41d9aa0d in KJS::JSLazyEventListener::parseCode (this=0x85b9c98) at kjs_events.cpp:193 #31 0x41d9a77b in KJS::JSLazyEventListener::handleEvent (this=0x85b9c98, evt=@0xbfff8e40) at kjs_events.cpp:158 #32 0x41c49cc2 in DOM::NodeImpl::handleLocalEvents (this=0x85b9980, evt=0x86c78e0, useCapture=false) at dom_nodeimpl.cpp:650 #33 0x41c4909c in DOM::NodeImpl::dispatchGenericEvent (this=0x85b9980, evt=0x86c78e0) at dom_nodeimpl.cpp:437 #34 0x41c48e7d in DOM::NodeImpl::dispatchEvent (this=0x85b9980, evt=0x86c78e0, exceptioncode=@0xbfff8f38, tempEvent=true) at dom_nodeimpl.cpp:400 #35 0x41c49359 in DOM::NodeImpl::dispatchHTMLEvent (this=0x85b9980, _id=17, canBubbleArg=false, cancelableArg=false) at dom_nodeimpl.cpp:481 #36 0x41cc9610 in khtml::RenderImage::notifyFinished (this=0x85bc870, finishedObj=0x85bb100) at render_image.cpp:391 #37 0x41d28d93 in khtml::CachedImage::movieStatus (this=0x85bb0d8, status=2) at loader.cpp:701 #38 0x41d2c68c in khtml::CachedImage::qt_invoke (this=0x85bb0d8, _id=3, _o=0xbfff9080) at loader.moc:100

Created attachment 13440 [details] The site's home page on 14.11.2005 (Firefox)
Website changed. Cannot reproduce the bug anymore.
Please could you provide an example of a site where this bug is still present or a test-case.
Using archive.org I discovered: http://web.archive.org/web/20041020085855/http://www.wanadoo.fr/ In my opinion the page renders correctly in 3.5.9 and trunk r799198. Please note that you can't view the images any longer because they don't seem to be on archive.org. However, rendering matches FF2.
Confirmed. The page is rendered well on both trunk and 3.5.9.
In that case, we should close it :). Please reopen if anyone can reproduce it still with a current version of Konqueror.
