Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.111-default goto http://www.nytimes.com/pages/pageone/index.html find and click "Page One" A popup is supposed to show but doesn't - unless "smart" is changed to for example "allow" under Settings->Configure Konqueror->Java &Javascript->Javascript.
The same thing happens with the calendar links at http://www.hertz.ie/index.cfm?pos=ie with KDE 3.4.2 When pop-up policy is "smart", pop-ups are not displayed even if the global policy is overridden for that domain (i.e. under Domain-specific policy, I had added hertz.ie with "Javascript Policy"="Allow" and "Open new Windows"=Allow) When global policy for pop-ups is "Allow", the calendars are displayed normally.
The nytimes page doesn't have a "page one" link that I can see any more. The hertz.ie calendar popups don't load, whether I set the JS policy to "smart" or "allow"
hertz.ie calender popup shows here with js policy setting to "allow". kde 3.5.4.
Hertz.ie calender popup shows here with js policy setting to "allow". kde 3.5.5. Adding hertz.ie as the site will not work. It has to be www.hertz.ie. I'm confirming this bug however. The stated problem was the "smart" policy not being exactly that. Clicking on a js link should allow a new window to be opened when this option is used. Also updating version.
Fixed http://www.hertz.ie/index.cfm?pos=ie on KDE 4.
