Version: 3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1-10mdk 1) Two konqueror windows (or tabs in the same window) are used to load two ftp sites and they display the list of files sorted by different criteria (by name for one and by modification time for another). 2) When the session is ended and restarted, the saved konqueror windows are started and the ftp sites loaded just fine. The problem is that the sorting criteria for the files of both sites is now the same, either both by name or both by modification time. It is expected that the sorting order of the files for each tab/window would be saved and restored individually instead of the "one-size-fits-all" rule being used now.
I can confirm this in konqueror 3.5.4.
I can reproduce this with KDE 3.5.4 on SUSE Linux 10.1.
All reports about file management mode reported against KDE 3 (konqueror) has been closed: konqueror in KDE 3 is no more developed and mantained. All bugs and wishes which could be interesting for Dolphin in KDE 4 (the new KDE file manager) has been collected into a specific list. Please try the new file manager before request new features and report bugs. Before submitting new reports check carefully the already opened KDE/Dolphin reports in order not to add duplicates. Many thanks.
