Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.3.1, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.108-default it would be nice if the old "unread mails" summary view would be back like it was in kontact as of kde 3.1.x. its really annoying to have to configure the mail summary view every time i create a new folder for a mailing list. besides, showing all configured folders creates a confusing summary, because IMO in a summary of unread mails yoou wouldnt want the, say, 5 folders with new mails being hidden between 35 folders without unread mails. and the total number of mails in a folder is also irrelevant in a summary.
[Configure Summary]->[Mail Summary] => DEselect all (do not select any folder), and all are automatically choosen for the summary view (at least it works for me this way)
does not work that way here... (kontact 1.0.1, kontact summary 0.1)
just installed kde 3.3.2 and it still does behave in the "old" new bad way, without deselecting all folders moving it back to the "older" old way, totally unlike damir said in that comment #1...
any news about this?
in 3.4, it will only show the folders that actually contain new mails.
ah, like it already had been in kde 3.1? or can i still select all the folders i wanna see in the summary view? a combination of "hide folders without unread mail" and "user can select which folders he sees in the summary" would be best in my opinion.
kde 3.4 -> mail summary is good!!
