Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (Possibly related to Bug #77030.) When visiting Thai web sites, the major characters get displayed correctly, but the "diacritica" (vowel signs) are displayed far below the text line. Mozilla apparently displays the text correctly. Visit e.g. http://www.thaitemple.org
We need a test case and a explaination of how it is supposed to look.
Please excuse the long delay. Please have a look at the file I upload now. Compare the output of Firefox and Konqueror.
Created attachment 11692 [details] Testcase (contains a HTML file in Thai language) Renders differently on KHTML and Mozilla (Mozilla's correct).
firefox & konquis display differ. --> confirming.
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
Fixed: attached testcase looks the same in konq 4.8.4 and others browser engine
