When I login several applications that were present in my last session restart like konsole, and grdesktop. Though mozilla-firefox was present it's not loaded... mozilla is loaded instead.

Ksmserver restores applications using the information it gets from the applications, so if it's restored this way, the bug is very likely in Firefox -> I suggest reporting the problem to them.
