Version: 3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.108-default online banking with deutsche bank stopped working after updating to kde 3.3. go to http://www.deutsche-bank.de/pbc/content/index_content.html and click on "kunden login" and you'll get a "internal server error" while it works just fine with mozilla 1.7.
tried to send other user-agent strings, did not help.
please send their webmaster an info. I doubt we can find out what breaks their server - after all it's all HTTP. If they reply to you with some more details, you can reopen the bug report.
I already called their webmaster on the phone, and gave him this bug number. as it was after hours, their web developer team was already out for the day, but they should get in contact with the kde team soon. thus, reopened.
besides, it was working fine with all konqueror versions up to kde 3.2.3 and stopped working just after i upgraded to kde 3.3... and i just crosschecked, works fine with a kde 3.1.4 on a knoppix 3.4 i had lying around.
more findings suggest that its somehow related with javascript; as soon as i disable javascript, the whole deutsche bank site stops working, and i only get "you need javascript" pages instead of the real content.
just tested it with konqueror 3.2.2, works fine. only konqueror 3.3 triggers the internal server error.
after deleting all stored deutsche-bank.de cookies, it works.
did not happen again for a while after deleting the cookies.
This bug had a duplicate report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96223 Why don't all of you vote for this bug in order to give it some weight? I think, this is really an important issue! Markus
BTW, I am using KDE 3.3.1 and I cannot confirm that this issue is resolved!
I have just deleted all my cookies, and the page still does not load.
i can confirm that this has been back recently. i'm using 3.3.2a here by now. deleting all deutsche-bank cookies made it work, though. still, this is a problem.

Reopening and assigning to kcookiejar.
I can confirm, that this bug existed and was solved when I deleted all deutsche-bank.de cookies and upgraded from Konqueror 3.3.92 (beta) to 3.4.0 (which one helped I don't know).
I verified Frank's entry: - Only the Upgrade to Konqueror 3.4.0 does not resolve the issue. When Konqueror reuses the old cookies, the error continues to occur. - Deleting all cookies triggers the setting of a new cookie. With a new cookie it works.
Since this works in KDE 3.4.0, why don't we close this ticket? As said, alone the upgrade to Konqueror of KDE 3.4.0 does not resolve the issue. The Deutsche Bank cookie still has to be deleted. With the new cookie, everything is fine.
It appears that this bug is fixed in 3.4.0+ versions. closing. If this is still an issue for you, please let KDE know.
