Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux KMail generates the html to display mails incrementaly (begin()->write()->end()). When an embedded image (references tmp file on disk) is broken and you do the following nothing happens: Node img = mViewer->htmlDocument().getElementById( id ); img.applyChanges(); mViewer->htmlDocument().updateRendering(); However if you save the generated html and open the complete page from a file, the update of the image works. Easy to reproduce with a small test case. Present in kde 3.2, 3.3 and HEAD.
Is this bug still valid on KDE 4? I don't think so.
