Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.91) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package On my laptop, I have configured only a remote fish:/-resource (removed the local resource). Without having a net connection, I added some TODOs, which repeatedly caused some KIO upload windows to appear (which I canceled, because they wouldn't work, of course). When I noticed that power went down, I closed kontact and shut everything down. At that time, all the TODOs were lost. There was no warning, that those entries were not synchronized yet and they were not saved locally, to be synchronized at a later time. Ideally, they would be saved locally and try to re-sync upon the next startup. Thanks, Carsten

Actually there is a messagebox which inform the user that the remote resource is not readable/writable. Local caching could be an interesting feature anyway. It could be interesting for akonadi too (if not yet implemented).
local caching will be available soon (I hope) on Akonadi in KDE4. So I'm closing this as "LATER".
