Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux There's two problems to report on this one. First, when logging in, I have encountered that masterzdm.com would stick at http://www.masterzdm.com/NCD/start-page.php and not refresh. Secondly, when "chatting" (and I belive this doesn't need a login to demonstrate) the resulting board does not refresh unless steps are taken to view the chat frame in another window and force it to refresh every minute. The chat is engineered by Tag-board.com Since both use the META Refresh tag in their operation, this leads me to belive that KHtml's handling of that tag is broken again. Mozilla/Firefox does not have this problem.
Karol Luis, webmistress of MZDM, has been notified of the bug.
This bug continues to exist in 3.3.1
link in 1st part of report no longer seems valid: http://www.masterzdm.com/NCD/start-page.php I need to be logged into chat apparently
The front page at www.masterzdm.com allows you to see the chat, but not talk. That should be sufficent to see the refresh problem. It doesn't happen with Mozilla. If you need an account to debug it, please talk to Karol Luis on the site via the Email MZDM link.
This bug needs some updating. First, the bug still exists in Konqueror 3.4.1 on KDE 3.4.1, this time on a Gentoo distro box. The tagboard chat has moved to http://www.masterzdm.com/NCD/postlist.php?Board=MEET -- once again, you need no account to view it. Compare with Mozilla or Firefox, which refreshes properly every 60 seconds. The only work around is to open the IFRAME'd page in it's own window and set it to auto-refresh.
One last URL, this time of another datapoint (this time using Apple's version of KHTML in Safari): http://www.masterzdm.com/NCD/showthreaded.php?Number=575548 Once again, no account needed to view.
Tried http://www.masterzdm.com/NCD/postlist.php?Board=MEET, firefox does indeed reload every minute or so, konq does not.
Can't confirm this. The site is much too slow and has even trouble loading initially. Needs more information.
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
