Description criss 2004-06-23 18:03:46 UTC
Version: 3.2.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3

OS: Linux

some sites like for instance www.pless.pl are not shown correctly. Text formatting and frames are not recognized by konqueror properly. Sometimes sites with large amounts of text crash konqueror (like for example: mysql manual shipped with mysql server for linux - mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.17, for slackware-linux). These bugs show up everytime I open www.pless.pl or html pages larger than 3 MB (text, not graphics). 3 MB of text always means crash of konqueror.

running 3.3.1 compiled from source.
3mb & > 7mb text html file doesn't crash my konqueror.

This appears to be 2 bugs?

www.pless.pl renders fine on firefox and not fine on konqueror.

please refer to http://web.archive.org/web/20040722074634/http://www.press.pl/ for the testcase. the site has changed in the meantime.

Looks mostly equivalent on trunk r794020 and FF2. However the content is positioned differently with the left-margin on konqueror being too big.

Tested the url in comment #2 with konqueror (4.8.3) and various other browsers: the page looks the same on all.
