Version: 0.8.6 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 3.3.2 OS: Linux Quite a serious bug, although not a true crash, but doesn't allow me to use kuickshow at all. When I run quickshow under my choice WM ion3, it just shows black.

Using waimea, i have the following experience: I cant view images in full screen mode, in windowed mode i have to manually resize the viewer window.
Using fluxbox, no picture is displayed. (However an additional entry is made in the fluxbox taskbar)
UPDATE: when I turn off auto image scale, I can view image, but pressing 'enter' to enter full screen mode makes image disappear like it used to in KDE with QT 3.2 (I have QT 3.3), and I can't view it without closing the window and opening it again. Also, pressing m makes part of the image just show up in the corner of the window as if it thinks the window is in a different place and I can drag image into place.
After askin on #ion about this, they told me: Kuickshow is asking for a window of size 1x1, report that to KDE. Hope that helps.

I have the same problem (black window 1x1, black even on maximize) I emerged in new instalation of Gentoo: x11-libs/qt-3.3.0-r1 kde-base/kdemultimedia-3.2.1 kde-base/kde-3.2.1 but NOT kde-base/kdeaccessibility-3.2.1 kde-base/kdeedu-3.2.1 kde-base/kdetoys-3.2.1 kde-base/kdeutils-3.2.1 kde-base/kdenetwork-3.2.1 kde-base/kdepim-3.2.1 kde-base/kdeaddons-3.2.1 kde-base/kdeadmin-3.2.1 kde-base/kdegames-3.2.1 the problem is still here ... (QT 3.3 is not longer masked)

Now it works for me. I did "emerge sync" updatad all KDE* and qt, but it didnot help. So I unmerged all KDE*, manually deleted remaining files/dirs and installed all from scratch. Now it works OK - problem was on my side - old versions/bad instalation or something like it.
