Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.90 (CVS >= 20040117), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-4mdk I noticed in the past week or so on CVS that someone made it possible to now press the same letter on the keyboard to scroll the dropdown list quickly, but I noticed the old action of needing long delays between keypresses is still required when the downdown list is not "expanded". An example is to go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and drop down the second dropdown list (the second English to Spanish) one. With it expanded, press "e" quickly and repeated and notice how to scrolls through the list with ease (you can even hold down e to make it scroll really fast). Now try the same with the same list, but this time have it not expanded (all you see is your selection, such as English to Spanish). Notice you can't hold down e, or even press it quickly, but instead will only work if you take descent breaks between presses. This is just something minor but will keep things consistent, and may have been overlooked when someone fixed the visible part a while back.
This looks to be working as requested now.. thanks :)
Reopening.. sorry, I didn't read my original post and forgot this bug only applies when the dropdown isn't displayed ('folded up' but has focus)
confirming for 3.5.4
Confirmed for trunk r794120.
This is still broken in 3.5.9 but works in trunk r794120 (please ignore c4 :)
reopening as still present in 3.5.9.
Qualifies for backporting to the 3.x branch.
