The printer toolbar icon looks very much like it is greyed out. This is apparent when the background looks close to grey and it is adjacent to other icons that are disabled.
I just wanted to report this too. In Konqueror there is nearly no difference between the active icon for Print and the greyed out one for Print Frame. There should be some colored element in the printer icon.

Maybe the printer2.svg icon could act as a replacement. http://muse.19inch.net/~jr/tmp/printer/images.html (not yet complete). The trouble is it's a 3D icon whereas the others used by Konqueror are all 2D.
This problem is persisting and it's really a problem. The only way to tell if the printer icon is enabled here is to hover.
