Description Nick Shaforostoff 2004-03-30 20:00:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

In single-click mode (w/ "Rename icons inline"), files and folders should be opened only by clicking on an icon, but not also on text (filename).

By clicking on text part (filename), renaming should begin. At least in icons view mode

I can confirm this, on my gentoo box. (KDE 3.4.1, GCC 3.3.2, CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe")

I can confirm this behaviour, too (KDE 3.4.1, Debian unstable).

This feature (rename by holding click) has been dropped from KDE4 and it won't be fixed in KDE 3. If you want you can be open a new wish for dolphin asking to add the "rename with click". Do you agree?
