Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD] OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.9-STABLE When I go to the W3C homepage, I notice that one of the items in an unordered list is not formatted correctly. The item seems to be too long to fit within the containing block. A newline seems to be rendered before the text, which seems to me to be unwanted behavior.
Created attachment 5353 [details] Rendering of http://www.w3.org/ Look at the left, the item 'Internalization'.
Your browser windows appears to be too narrow; the narrower you make it the more list items get displaced. Under the same circumstances Mozilla simply lets long words flow under the div to the right. I'd say KHTML handles this better.
the wrapping does nothing but waste space. kde 3.4.0
Confirmed on konqueror 4.
