Description Leo Savernik 2004-03-18 16:09:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

This is a reminder so that I don't forget this issue:

When caret mode is activated, no key input is possible in input elements. Text selection works.

I assume that the event handler filtering out all key events is susceptible to this blunder, but I have to investigate.

Key input in textareas works, because they circumvent the event filter.

Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams:
This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore.
If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report.
Thank you for your understanding.
