Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux select print on www.ptifou.fr results krash handler: Goto the site: http://www.ptifou.fr Select from the topline the green turtle with the red hat At the next screen, select from the left frame the scissors You are now shown a picture of a house in a garden. At the left side of the picture select the printer icon. ---> krash handler. This is very disappointing for children that should become used to linux/kde!!! If you play a bit more on that site, you'll notice that the cursor does not follow the mouse very well... Is that a bug as well?
the site does not have a green turtle. It tries to open a popup which I killed and requires flash.
Marijn, the site changed. I don't remember how it was, but for sure not like this, as I would have written a different bug report. Anyway, does the site work for you in konqueror? In firefox it showed much more (flash) than konqueror....
check for popup blockers because the main site comes up as a popup. I was able to go through all the steps to get to the print option without crashing. I'm running 3.5.2 from debian testing. no crash here. Richard, check that the popup blocker is stopping the main site appearing.
Created attachment 15809 [details] printing option taken.
Thanks, live is very easy sometimes.
After selecting the printer icon my Konqueror seemed to freeze, but after a while it resumed work and sent the job to my printer...No crash (using KDE 3.5.4 - Mandriva 2006 MDE RPMs).
At least it hangs quite lot on low end machine (P3 550Mhz 450MB memory) After I killed hanging nspluginviewer, lpq had a big print job 653355008 bytes
Crash no more reproducible due to website changed too much.
