Description Gioele Barabucci 2004-02-10 21:32:33 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r4, propolice)
OS: Linux (ppc) release 2.4.22-ben2-r4

open http://www.sogese.com/sogese.html with ALT-F2.
Wait for the page to load and try to type anything in the location box.
Close the windows, and do the same actions.

80% of the times you won't be able to type in the location box.

(using kwin + plastik + standard focus policies)

It happens only on pages with flash objects, so I think it is related to nsplugin...

Tested in 4.0.3 - unable to reproduce. Opened url using ALT-F2 but had no problems typing into the location box.

I can't reproduce it either in 3.5.9. If the problem persists for you, please reopen this bug report so we can have another look at it.
