Color Boxes generated by LaTeX are unreadable because they are only black instead of the correct color

thanks for the attachement ---I can reproduce the issue now. To make debugging easier, could you please send me the TeX source of the dvi file to kebekus@kde.org

Thanks for the bug report. The issue has been fixed in the latest CVS version of KDE, and will be included in KDE 3.2.1. Can you please verify that the problem is gone, and close the bug? If that isn't possible, please let me know and I will close the bug for you.
