Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.24 I don't know if this is a kgpg issue, but I only noticed the behaviour here. Start the internal editor and maximize the window. Now go the the kcontrol bar, it should appear (maybe you have to configure KDE that way, that the bar is hided automatically). But the bar doesn't show up. Maybe some wired stuff (read: uncommon) of resizing is done.
When the kicker is hidden, the unhidding handle is masked by maximized windows. It seems to happen only with dialogs, not with main windows. Seems to be a kwin bug. To reproduce: in Konqueror->open new location. Maximize the dialog window. It will cover the kicker's handle if the kicker is hidden.
