Description klaehn 2004-02-04 16:56:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I add some mp3 files to an audio cd project, he marks them as red and refuses to add them. I can play them just fine in noatun or even the embedeed audio player. Maybe there is something wrong with these mp3 files, but they work just fine with every other program I use, so it should also work with k3b.

I've had the same problem using k3b 0.11.1 with kde 3.1.3 on a mandrake 9.2 box (with both binary package and with home compiled version).

Additionaly, when I drop mp3 files to an audiocd project the lenght calculating is very slow. A lot slower than in k3b 0.10.2.

My libmad version is 0.15.0b

same problem with k3b 0.11.12 and kde 3.3

is it still there? do you have a nonIPed test file to check out with current CVS?

try changing/adding the ID-tag - that worked for me. after i added all information for one song, i even could add all other songs without tag information. but after closing k3b once it will the same problem again...

this should be fixed now (with k3b 0.12.8 which will be released soon)
