Description Jens 2004-02-03 14:38:31 UTC
Version:           1.6 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206),  (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20031229 (prerelease) (Debian)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.22b-w4l-p4

Hi,

When compiling a .tex file with pdflatex and including a .pdf file via \includegraphics[width=\textwidth}{file.pdf} that does NOT exist, pdflatex exits with

Error: pdflatex (file pics/nnb-schaltbild.pdf): cannot find image file
 ==> Fatal error occurred, the output PDF file is not finished!

but kile pretends there was no error. This is obviously wrong :-)

Thanks for looking into this,

Jens

It is fixed for the CVS version. I'm not sure if this fix will be backported to the stable branch (for 1.6.2), at least it will be part of 1.7.

best,
Jeroen

P.S.: 1.6.1 is released, upgrading is recommended
