Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0 RC1, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r3, propolice) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r8 I've seen (or noticed) this only for Google's search results till now. For quite some time Konq displayed the favicon from http://www.kuro5in.org/. At some day it changed to the one from http://www.drupal.org/. And today it decided to choose yet another icon, the one from http://spamassassin.taint.org/. The icons in /var/tmp/kdecache-mss/favicons are correct but in the file ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/faviconrc I noticed the weird entry www.google.de/search=http://spamassassin.taint.org/favicon.png
Haven's seen this behaviour again since I cleared the faviconrc.
This bug is back in KDE 3.3.
Created attachment 6970 [details] screenshot The icon shown is the one of tagesschau.de.
seems fixed in kde 4 trunk (may 03 2008) and 3.5.9
