Description Ricardo Ferreira 2003-08-23 16:19:47 UTC
Version: 3.1.90 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r2, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

When icon relfects folder contents is on, and the folder is a link to another folder, the contents get overlayed above the link overlay in the icon.

This makes it very difficult to see its a symlink without looking at it for some time. Possible solution would be to overlay the contents on the right side of the icon.

Also, if the icon has a preview of the contents, the link overlay isnt visible at all.

confirming for 3.4.1
Comment 3 Philip Rodrigues 2007-01-09 22:54:32 UTC
Same in svn r620k. Fixing would require a change in libkonq/KFileIVI to allow multiple (well, 2) overlays on an icon.

Option no longer seems available with kde 4.x series
