Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux I am using javascript (body onload) location.href=myframeset_url + "?" + document.URL; to force a requested page to be loaded inside myframeset (if the requested page is loaded outside myframeset). In myframeset, the partner-script: ... var dokument=location.search; frames.mycontent.location.href=dokument.substring(1,dokument.length)); In Konqueror (3.1.1, KDE 3.1.1, SuSE 8.2) this leads to the effect, that myframeset is correctly re-loaded if needed, but it does _not_ load the given "location.search" (the requested page) into the mycontent-frame. It loads its _intitial_ page into the mycontent-frame. Other browsers (tested IE, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera) behave as expected.
Effect can be seen for example on http://w210.ub.uni-tuebingen.de/dbt/uni/oton.php
Created attachment 24221 [details] testcase new simple testcase as the original example is down.
This seems to work in trunk r793971. To use the new testcase you'll have to put it somewhere on your harddrive and invoke it using the URL to load like: file:///tmp/test-62481.html?http://www.kde.org
Works in 3.5.9 as well.
