Description Alex Radu 2003-05-25 21:02:09 UTC
Version: 3.1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: GCC 3.3
OS: Linux

The dir tree doesn't stay in sync with the active file listing. E.g. when dragging a file from the file listing and dropping it on another dir in the dir tree the other dir becomes selected while the file listing shows the contents of the first dir.

Confirm in HEAD 20030524.

If you drag a file to the tree view sidebar and drop it to any directory, that directory
becomes highlighted. The item highlighted after the operation is done should be the
current directory.

Okay, i guess i agree with you.
Comment 3 Alex Radu 2003-05-25 22:11:31 UTC
What you're saying is that if I drag a file from the file view into the
navigation panel dir tree it won't update the view to display the folder in
which i dragged the file in. instead it just highlights that folder in teh dir tree.

I think that's what you said.

(I gues shtis oculd be a feature too in a way...)

Is this bug still present in a recent KDE version, such as 3.5.9 or 4.0.1?
Comment 5 Jaime Torres 2008-07-07 17:13:28 UTC
This operation is not allowed in 4.1b2 svn trunk r828814
Comment 6 Kevin Funk 2009-11-28 12:33:32 UTC
Bump: This is still valid for me in 4.3.2
