Description uzs5p3 2003-04-30 12:30:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

When automatically accepting session cookies and treating all cookies as session cookies all cookies should be accepted. If the now greyed out default policy is set to reject all cookies, however, they apparently are not sent back. With these settings I can't log into ebay (only tried ebay.de) for example. The cookies show up in the management tab, but ebay still complains that cookies weren't accepted. The workaround is trivial -- just deactivate "treat all cookies as session cookies" for a second and choose either "ask for confirmation etc." or "accept all cookies". It is quite unintuitive, however, as the radiobuttons are greyed out, signifying they are not applicable, and cookies show up in the manager.

Hello,

Indeed. Fixed in the development branch. Will backport to the current branch once
the patch is tested by more people.

Thanks for the report.
