Description Stevan White 2003-04-30 05:09:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
OS: Linux

This is with regard to the Application Selection page in the Application Wizard.

Some project names are too long. This has the effect that, in Netscape 7 anyway, the Application list window extends way off the page.

In particular, 'knotifyclient' has a very long name. But there are others.

Solutions would include:
Truncate the name when generating the page
Do something with HTML to limit the size of the scroll list
Do something with HTML to allow horizontal scrolling in the scroll list
Limit the length of project names, in the naming of projects

I don't see this problem using firefox 2.0.0.12. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Gee. In 2003 I was using something in KDE called an "Application Wizard".
And a web browser called Netscape 7.

I don't even know where to find an "Application Wizard".

Have a look but if you dont' see anything wrong,
let's close it.

well it looks OK to me now, so I think we can assume that it was fixed/changed at some point in the last 5 years! Closing.

I don't even remember what an Application Wizard is.
Maybe I should have put a link there. (But it probably changed by now anyway.)
