Version: 0.9pre (using KDE 3.1.9) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030407 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-pre7 With light enabled some parts of the models are very dark (black). E.g.: Rotor of Puma, Cannons from the Turrets, Roof of the Weapons Factory, ships Other things: - Teamcolor red becomes white (turret) - Teamcolor red becomes black (command bunker) - Ground I also thing the whole view is a little to dark. Maybe the difference between dark and light is not big enought. Maybe real shadow support can help here.
Subject: Re: Problems with light support Looks like it is better if I enable materials, but it isn't good enough to close the bug I think. (Mineral refinery, techcenter) I also don't know if we should allow disableing of materials while using light, looks like light is only nice with materials. But hey the weapons factory looks so cool with the red light, whoo ;)
"Problems with light support" -> "models are dark with light enabled"
I believe we have better light support now, how is it now? It looks like there's a problem with meshes which have several nodes (my terminology may be wrong here). E.g. with wheels. Only one mesh (original?) is lit correctly in this case, others are just black. But ground sure looks good now ;-) Rivo
Ooold bug - I believe it should be fixed CU Andi
I don't think so, last time I look light wasn't working. This but was there since the beginning of light support. I will have a look at this the evening.
