Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          GCC 3.2.2 
OS:          Linux

Konqueror has Sort by Name as it's default sort type. The Icon View does not remember the sort type.

How to reproduce:
1. kfmclient openProfile filemanagement
2. Click View->View Mode->Icon View
3. Click View->Sort->By Type.
4. Close Konqueror.
5. kfmclient openProfile filemanagement

Excepted result: sorting type should still be Sort by Type.

Actual result: sorting type is reverted back to Sort by Name.

It seems it doesn't even get saved when one tries to keep this setting by saving the 
current view manually in a view profile. This is very bad imo.
