Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Debian stable Packages Compiler: gcc-2.95 (Debian woody release) Debian Woody packages by Ralf Nolden OS: Linux There is a IMHO superflous warning in kdeblibs/kdecore/kkeyserver_x11.cpp in function Sym::initQt(): "failed to convert to key xyz". This warning appears in .xsession-errors when I press the AltGr key (Thinkpad T20). So every time I press the AltGr key, a warning is written to .xsession-errors which I would like to prevent.
I can confirm this behaviour with AltGr and/or some other keys. I've never really paid attention to what key exactly generates this warning, but I've seen it a lot when using an UTF-8 input, in which there are lots of dead keys.
The same happens with KDE 3.0.5 when I press a turkish character (
Ok -- I'll remove this as soon as possible -- within two weeks, probably, when DSL gets activated in my new appartment.
Fixed in HEAD and KDE_3_1_BRANCH
