Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Debian stable Packages OS: Linux The menus on the main page of http://www.ksu.edu appear in the wrong positions and the text of those menus is displayed vertically instead of horizontally. Mozilla, Netscape, and IE display the page properly.
I think this is related however i am not sure also mplayer.dev.hu has menus that are not displayed ok.. check out http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design6/news.html
www.mplayer.hu also has similair rendering issues of its menu, which I believe are related
Just tried www.ksu.edu with konqueror 3.2rc1 Now the page does not show any of the text on it.
Change konqi's user agent to IE. There are still minor bugs, but it's not anymore chaotic.
I can't reproduce this with konqueror from current SVN trunk, but that could be because the web site cited as a test case has changed (very likely considering it was 5 years ago). Please could users who have experienced this bug confirm if it still exists, and if so, provide a test case for it.
www.archive.org shows the content www.ksu.edu around the time this bug was submitted to be an image map. The mplayer homepage with the old design can still be reached at http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design6/news.html and renders the same as on Firefox.
Original page at http://web.archive.org/web/20030330021046/www.k-state.edu/ works fine in KDE 4.0.3. Can we close?
It works fine in 3.5.9 as well, so I'm closing it right now.
