Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98) OS: Linux How to reproduce this: 1. Copy some URL's to the clipboard that cannot be downloaded by GKet, like www.google.com. 2. KGet will pop up a download Window to confirm your download, select Cancel (KGet should never popup for URLs that are not files, but that's not the point of this bug report, maybe the next :-) ). 3. It appears that as long as the URL stays in the clipboard, KGet will repeatedly popup confirmation dialogs for the same URL, once every 5 minutes or so. The only way to get rid of it is to clear the clipboard or close KGet. Although not perfect yet, KGet is a very cool app. Maybe it will be as good (or better!) as GetRight was back in the Windows days.
This bug is still not fixed for KDE 3.1.1

Should be fixed now.
