(only semi) duplicate of bug 50647.

Supposedly fixed in CVS but still present in 3.1 !
Happens when a large number of files are present in search result
(i was looking for "NT_STATUS" in the complete samba source tree)
 
1) open search component in konqueror, search CONTENT for a string
2) choose one of the found files and display it (embedded text viewer)
3) go back ... no message, just crash
