I like to know what the mail program is doing at the moment - which server is it getting messages from, is it logging in/out/getting msg nr, x, etc. I know that there is a progress bar in the lower right corner, but it's too small and doesn't show much (and is in the corner). And it would be even better if KMail could get messages in threads, from several servers at the same time.
