Description mattsheffield 2002-12-30 12:25:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When dynamic word wrap is enabled, pressing the Home and End keys does not move the insertion point to beginning or ending of the virtual lines. Whille this can be a useful feature, it is not what the average user expects. At the least, pressing End should go to the end of the virtual line and pressing End, End should move to the end of the true line. Same with Home.

I agree, I've been putting off implementing this for a while now :) Will look
into it...

Committed to CVS Head. Waiting to see what the kate team says about a
backport to 3.1.
