Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.1.9) Compiler: gcc version 3.2 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19 The size of the Kaboodlepart in KHTML is not correct (might have to reassign to kaboodle, bugging Neil right now). See the example page and a screenshot: http://www.stanford.edu/group/csp/cs22/exercises/sound/embed.html http://capsi.com/~cap/khtml-testcases/kaboodle-emded.png The page source is small and simple, not asking for a specific width or height.
One issue here is that khtml is using the minimum size for the part, rather than the size hint. The other issue is that Kaboodle doesn't set a minimum size. Whether either is a bug, I'm not sure.
taking the minimum size is very much legitim, it's embedded after all.
Is this bug still there in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE4.0 RC2?
All reports about kaboodle has been closed because is no more developed and mantained in KDE 4. Moreover the is no feedback since a lot of time. Thanks all anyway for contributing with bug reports.
