Version: 0.5.8cvs >= 20021020 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC5)) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-17.8.0 "use message queue" is not checked "show bubble" is not checked "flash system tray" is checked "play sounds" is checked when an incoming message comes for the first time and a window is popped up, the incoming message sound is not played. once the window is up, successive incoming messages play the sounds properly. thanks, christopher
Did you check your sound configuration? Maybe some events are not selected to output a sound.
