Description Joshua Penix 2002-12-11 04:38:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc v3.2.1
OS: Linux

Enter KMail and ensure "View -> Unread Column" and "View -> Total Column" are turned on. Resize 'Folder' column using right side handle between 'Folder' and 'Unread.' Note that 'Folder' column can easily be stretched or shrunk.

Now turn off both 'Unread' and 'View' columns so that only 'Folder' remains. Note that 'Folder' column is now frozen at the size it was when 'Unread' and 'View' were turned off. Cannot grab handle on right side of column, even though cursor changes appropriately. Turn on either 'Unread' or 'View' column again and note that 'Folder' is now resizable.

If 'Unread' and 'View' are turned off, and KMail is exited, upon re-start, 'Folder' column will take up entire width of left pane, which is originally desired behavior.
