Version: 0.50.5 (using KDE KDE 3.0.3) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs OS: Linux When you go to move a screenname to another metacontact, there is no way to view the list in a logic order (apart from the natural order in which they show up). Therefore, moving names can be a long process. It would be nice if there was a sort bar on top of this list.
What about scrapping this weird popup list alltogether, and when you choose "Change Metacontact" it switches your cursor to a "Crosshairs" cursor and waits for you to click on a MetaContact to move it to? I'll look into doing this if it seems like a better solution.. James
the best is to have a better dialog for it (including icons and proper sorting for instance). The idea you brought up is not needed because we have DnD for it which is almost exactly the same (it operates on the view only with no dialog).
Drag and Drop contacts between different MetaContacts does not work anymore, since the Contact LVI was removed and all merged into the MetaContact LVI. maybe upon choosing "Change Metacontact" it could initiate a Drag event somehow, then you could just drop it wherever you wanted it? James
