OS/Compiler notes: 

Create a kword document. Insert object frame -> kivio. Draw something. Ok. Now when I click on some other part of the kword doc to write some text the kivio object shows up empty. There is no objects/lines/whatsoever visible on the kivio object frame. Edit however works and contents is visible again.

I can confirm this - plus, after you did the insert thing (or opened a kword doc with a kivio part in it, and tried to edit it) I am unable to enter any spaces in kword. Copy-pasting spaces also doesn't work. I am using koffice 1.2 using kde 3.0.4 on Debian.
