(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdesktop
Version: KDE 3.0.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

i have configured 2 monitors with traditional options:
 monitor 1 : res 1280*1024
 monitor 2 : res 800*600
it's works finaly only this:
the Options for fonts are indifferent between monitor 1+2 that means when I change the font-option for monitor 1 then changed also for monitor 2.
2nd error: i can't create a icon on the desktop for monitor 2. The error-message by clicking on a Desktop-Icon (on monitor 2 ! it's works correctly on monitor 1) is: "Device: '/home/andreas/Desktop1/kate' has an unsupported format"

With best regards
Andreas

Is this bug still present in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE 4 RC2?
