(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 3.0.0 Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: gcc 2.95.2 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified Reproduction: 1. start konquerer file manager 2. make sure the navigation panel is displayed (press F9 if not) 3. klick on the navigation panel button "home directory" so that the file tree of your homedir is shown on the navigation panel 3. View -> View Mode -> Detailed list view 4. View -> Case insensitive sort OFF Now files and directorys in the listview are sorted case sensitive. But: why are directorys in tree on the navigation panel still sorted case INsensitive? How can I set up case insensitive sort for the navigation panel file tree ?? (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
*** Bug 82728 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Is this bug still present in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE 4 RC2?
I'm only using 3.5.7 now but this issue is still present.
In KDE 4 trunk, I can't actually find an option to sort case-sensitively at all!
Is this bug vaild anymore? I can not either find this particular option. Using Kubuntu8.04 RC, Konqueror 4.0.3
no option in kde svn but also no issue for me anymore
I cannot find the option View -> Case insensitive sort OFF in kde 4.2.4 and therfore I cannot reproduce it. are there other people out there that can?
I can confirm this bug is no more valid in KDE 4 and the KDE 3 version of konqueror is no more mantained. Thanks to all for the comments. :-)
