(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kate Version: KDE 2.9.2 Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I would like to be able to put the Goto line function in a toolbar button. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
Thank you for your report, and big pardon for the late reply. Developer talk: (beware, running KDE 3.1.4) Since this is a std action, properly referenced in katepartui.rc and properly set in kateview.cpp#282(IMHO) - I don't understand why this action doesn't show up in the configure toolbar dialog. I'm just judging from the sources - I will investigate further when compilation of my HEAD is done. Any clues? /Frans
Sigh. Yet another missing icon. Atleast 3.2 allows actions to be added with custom icons. Back to #artwork you go. /Frans
I don't understand this report, what is the action?
The problem seems to be fixed at least in Kate 2.3.1 with KDE 3.3.1.
> I don't understand this report, what is the action? As written KStdAction::gotoLine() - do you have your eyes closed today? :-)
someone can confirm comment #4 ?
Right, confirmed. Cheers, Frans
Is this bug still present in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE 4 RC2?
The action exist in the stable version of kate (KDE 3.5.8) but it has been removed from the new (KDE 4 ).
*** Bug has been marked as fixed ***.
