Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2002-02-17 12:40:04 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package:           knode
Version:           0.7.0 (using KDE 2.9.0 3 (CVS >= 20020213))
Severity:          wishlist
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.10-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi!
If the server is not available. the message "connecting to server" is displayed but it is not possible to stop the network. One has to wait until the timeout occurs.
IMHO it should work like konqueror and kmail

While waiting on the timeout you are unable to use any other server, so I consider this a bug.

Still occures in CVS HEAD.

Is this bug still present in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8 or KDE 4 RC2?

Closing due to no response by reporter. Please reopen if this bug still exists in KDE 3.5.8 or 4.0.0.
