(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: ksysv Version: 1.3.8 (using KDE 2.2.2 ) Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: This problem does not seem to occur in Red Hat only SuSE When starting ksysv either from the command line or from the GUI under SUSE SLES 7.0 I get an error message that I do not have enough permissions and that to use ksysv I must be root. The problem is I *am* root. I've also tried running this application with KDE 2.1.1 on Red Hat and had no problems getting it started as root. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
