(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: knode Version: KDE 2.2.1 Severity: normal Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: Not Specified OS: Other OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified The scoring defaults every post to 0 but the preset filter will filter all posts > 0 not >= 0 so a user who just wants to start killfiling has to go and manually set up a filter first thing instead of being able to set up the preset. Thanks (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
The last update to this bug report was many months ago. Can you please give us an updated on whether this is still a problem for you with a more recent version of knode? If it is not a problem - the status of this bug report will be changed to closed. Sorry I do not use "Scoring" so I do not know exactly how to test this.
The problem is, by default it's not possible to run a traditional killfile. If I wanted to killfile someone, I set up a scoring rule that subtracts points from that person. So naturally, I'd want to read all articles with scores >= 0. But KNode doesn't ship with one. This is a user interface and default settings issue.
yes, we have to add additional default filters or change the existing ones...
